Develop a Peace Day Message & Win a Prize

The International Day of Peace will be observed throughout the world including Bangladesh on 21 September 2008. In commemoration of the Day this year, the United Nations has chalked out a number of events globally. The UN Secretary- General Mr. Ban Ki-moon has asked the world community to observe the Day in a befitting manner. The United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) Dhaka jointly with its partner Organizations has planned to organize a number of activities to commemorate the Peace Day.

 In this connection UNIC Dhaka has arranged a Peace Day Message Development Contest. You are requested to develop a message not exceeding 10 words, and submit it to UNIC email address: info.unic@undp.org by 31 August 2008. The best message would be selected by a panel of judges and the best message developer would be rewarded with a prize.

 The message would be used for the Peace Day advocacy purposes.
